It's a truism in the open source world that we can work on code that already exists--fixing bugs and adding features--but it is exceedingly difficult to carry on a design discussion online. The questions, "what should we do?" and "how should we do it?", are just too nebulous.

Hi All,
I came to know regarding DITA Open Toolkit and i very much impressed what it does. So, i installed and everything is working fine. But, what i need now is to change its look and feel like xsl, css, main or cover page.

The standard is advanced through an open process by the OASIS DITA Technical Committee, a group that encourages new participation from developers and users.
DITA v1.1 was approved as an OASIS Standard in August 2007.
